Here and there in words and images was an art project based on the lyrical residence Place Poetry Periphery organised in Hylte by Art Inside out during spring 2017.
On four separate occasions in September and October the same year, a hundred odd pupils from year 2-3 and 5-6 at the schools of Kinnared and Landeryd worked with artist Sassa Buregren. In this project, the pupils worked from the concepts of centre and periphery. They were given the opportunity of trying out different artistic formats and work with different languages – imagery, their native language and the written word, thus taking on parts of the national curriculum in Swedish and Art in a creative, progressive way.
Their works were presented and displayed at Hylte public library between 9-24 November 2017.
