The Blue Thread – To America

Here, the role of water in the dream of emigration to America is highlighted, both as a barrier and a pre-condition for finding a better life. We get to follow a blue thread of stories about those who left Sweden and those who were left behind. The exhibition is a collaboration with Americans of Swedish descent and tapestry painters.
